THE PARTICIPACTION COMMUNITY CHALLENGE IN BAMFIELD

Comments Off on THE PARTICIPACTION COMMUNITY CHALLENGE IN BAMFIELD

Do you walk down the beach? Like to hike? Swim at the lake? Kayak to work? Paddleboard? Ride a bike? Pull up prawn traps? Chase after your chickens? Chop firewood?

If we all track our activity for ONE MONTH, we could win a huge prize for our community, as well as a number of individual prizes! Starting June 1st, by logging ANY physical activity you do on the ParticipACTION app, you can help Bamfield show the rest of Canada how active we are. The most active community in Canada will win $100,000 to support local sport and physical activity initiatives!

PLEASE take a moment to download the app, and begin logging your activity as an individual! Based on your address, your activity will count towards the Community Score for the ‘Port Alberni – Alberni-Clayoquot‘ community, who the Bamfield and Anacla community are competing with, to level the playing field with more populous communities across Canada. Together we can do it!
