We hope everyone is enjoying the transition from summer to autumn! Here are some fun opportunities to get together with our wonderful community in the month of September (sorry for the late post, this got lost in the back-to-school chaos!).
Some details about the BCSA’s programs and events this month:
Drop-in sports continue Monday evenings from 6-8pm at the school!
After School Clubs, the Youth Drop-In, and the Friday Night Chill will all recommence the week of September 16th-20th! Students will be coming home this week with permission forms for families.
Join us for pancake breakfast and a shoreline-themed storytime at the library on September 21st, International Coastal Cleanup Day. We will be heading to local beaches in the afternoon to pick up trash, stay tuned for details!
Gentle, beginner-friendly yoga practices are planned for September 18th and 25th at the school.
Learn to weave a willow tray with visiting fungi expert Candice Cullum of Full Baskets on Thursday September 26th! Registration details coming soon.
We will be hosting an event for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, stay tuned for details.
